Taieri Network is a place-based community group in the Taieri focused on supporting, connecting and coordinating community-led initiatives. We aim to increase connectivity and resilience in the community. Whether you are new to the Taieri or are a long term resident, Taieri Network is here for you. We aim to be a 'one-stop-shop' of all things (services, events, businesses, community groups and activities) in our community.
If you want to get involved, connect with a service, or have an idea - connecting in with our friendly team can be the start of your journey in making Taieri the best place to be.

Meet the Candidates
Local Body Election Candidates for Mosgiel Taieri Community Board, Maryoralty & Otago Regional Council Molyneux
Date: Wednesday 17th September 2025
Time: 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Where: Taieri Bowling Club, 12 Wickliffe St, Mosgiel
Accessibility: The venue is fully accessible for disabled & wheelchair users
This evening provides a valuable forum for our community to meet and hear from Candidates.
Our aim is to create an open, welcoming environment where candidates can introduce themselves, share their priorities, and respond to community questions.
Format for the Evening:
Each candidate will have up to 3-5 minutes (depending on the number of candidates who attend), to introduce themselves and outline their key priorities.
Following introductions, we will open the floor for community questions, which will be directed to candidates by the MC.
Time will be managed to ensure fairness and balance for all candidates.
There will also be an opportunity to mingle and interact with community members over a cuppa after the formal session.
Conflict of Interest Statement:
Please note that Malcolm Anngow, who is standing as a candidate, is also a member of the Taieri Network Board. Taieri Network remains neutral and impartial, and this event is not organised to promote or benefit any individual. All candidates will have the same opportunity to speak, with time managed fairly to ensure balance.
Taieri Network Office is Closed
