The Taieri Network Strategic Plan 2024–2030 sets a clear, community-driven vision for strengthening connection, resilience, and wellbeing across the Taieri area. Rooted in extensive local consultation and a place-based approach, the Plan prioritises community empowerment, collaboration, and adaptive action to support individuals, families, organisations, and businesses. Over the coming six years, the strategy focuses on enhancing accessibility of services, fostering leadership and partnerships, responding to local needs through inclusive initiatives, and building greater community cohesion and resilience. Taieri Network remains committed to being a welcoming hub where people can access information, develop ideas, form meaningful connections, and contribute to the future of their own neighbourhoods.
Our 2022 operational plan is focused on connection and knowledge of the community so that we can better plan on where we go in the future. Thanks to the Dunedin City Council's commitment to place-based funding in their ten year plan, Taieri Network will be able to continue their work for the forseeable future.
Our Operational Plan was launched at our very first Meet and Greet for Taieri Network on March 4th, 2022. The plans timeline stretches to November 2022, where Taieri Network aims to put in place an overarching strategic plan that will cover the following five years. This strategic plan will be informed by our community through community meetings, surveys and community member interviews.
