Why do you look, move, or even laugh a little differently from your friends?

Join The Sustainable School, a movement nurturing future-ready kids through joyful, hands-on learning rooted in sustainability, and dive into the amazing world of DNA!
In this exciting, hands-on workshop, we’ll explore fun videos, fascinating science stories, and interactive activities, learning big ideas like cells, chromosomes, and how DNA works—all explained in a way that’s easy to understand and fun to remember. Best of all, you’ll get to build your very own DNA model using everyday materials and lots of creativity!
By the end of the class, you won’t just take home a cool craft—you’ll take home real scientific knowledge that you can remember, explain, and feel proud of. Let’s twist, colour, and discover the building blocks of life together!

Local Body Elections - 2025
This evening provides a valuable forum for our community to meet and hear from those standing for the Mosgiel-Taieri Community Board, the Mayoralty in the Dunedin City Council area and the Otago Regional Council Molyneux Regional Constituency Candidates.
Our aim is to create an open, welcoming environment where candidates can introduce themselves, share their priorities, and respond to community questions.
When: Wednesday 17th September 2025
Time: 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Where: Taieri Bowling Club, 12 Wickliffe St, Mosgiel

Format for the Evening:
Each candidate will have up to 3-5 minutes (depending on the number of candidates who attend), to introduce themselves and outline their key priorities.
Following introductions, we will open the floor for community questions, which will be directed to candidates by the MC.
Time will be managed to ensure fairness and balance for all candidates.
There will also be an opportunity to mingle and interact with community members over a cuppa after the formal session.

Please note that Malcolm Anngow, who is standing as a candidate, is also a member of the Taieri Network Board. Taieri Network remains neutral and impartial, and this event is not organised to promote or benefit any individual. All candidates will have the same opportunity to speak, with time managed fairly to ensure balance.
Monthly meeting for all community groups, service providers and agencies who either work or live in the greater Taieri area.
They may be based in Dunedin but their services support residents living in the greater Taieri area.
